Started out modelling while the teachers went around the 3rd years. Nina wasn’t happy with that so moved onto the carving again at 10:30/11. Spoke to Kim and she said due to the length of the figure and where the viewer is the highest point should be the feet and knees, then drop back to the upper body, see pic.

I finished one leaf today, should have worked them all equally but got far too carried away, happy with it’s look but need to make sure I get all the others looking like this finished one now. Don’t make that mistake again. Used a saw to cut out between the four leafs. After this I drew on the central shape and carried on with the other leafs.

In studio now working on lead letters. Going slowly even though I didn’t need to finish the centre of the letters, just get the edges in.
