Stiff Leaf Cap
Started noticing a mistake I’d made on the bottom left hand leaf, it’s too small, I pushed the stem up to compensate and it’s helped a little.
Apart from this I focused on cleaning the carving, Ghislain told me to follow the curves when doing so as not to destroy the life of the carving, I think I’ve done this but time will tell.
While cleaning I started defining the edges of the leafs more permanently too, however ended up chipping off the tip of the right hand central leaf in the process.

While working on the final shape of these top leafs I noticed the model was changed significantly when the wax had been applied so I adjusted this on the stone.

Nina noticed the whole thing was on the piss, I think this is because I worked of the top and bottom instead of just working off one. I’ve been slightly put off by my lack of sliding square sadly. Will make required adjustments tomorrow first thing.
Finished the day by starting to clean the masonry and get the background in.
