Käthe Kollwitz Transcription

Spent a long time modelling the child, was very tired today so everything was a bit of a mess. Children have fundamentally different features to adults so need to be careful not to just make small adults.

Kim recommended I look at some friezes for research, she noted I had moved past my interest in neoclassical figurative modelling and started looking at more meaningful (to me personally) subject matter. Like the Kollwitz drawing.

I should draw my drapery in the style of Kollwitz to try and understand the form better.
