Ted Knight Inscription

Carried on with the final drawing, centred the date to begin with. Traced it onto a new piece of paper before venturing it on the final piece.

Mark (Tom was ill with covid) mentioned that the g was wrong so I spent half the day re-drawing that. Took a lot of looking at other examples of this g (I forget the name, should have written it down), finally got it.

After working the ‘g’ I moved back onto spacing and managed to finish the design by 5:00pm, had to leave early to go finish a job. Hopefully will get more done tomorrow.

Something I noticed is when drawing anything with a curve (2, d, n, h, o, etc.) I must watch that my high point is consistent. In this case directly at the centre of the curve.
