Spent today just lettering, finished all the letterforms for the inscription, just need to go over spacing now. There may still be a bit much of a shoulder on the ‘O’s but I will changed this when I do the spacing.

Third Year Proposals

Started the final drawing for the third year relief. The continuation of the Käthe Kollwitz transcription. Didn’t spend long on it, wanted to work quickly and freely. Needs a lot more work but am happy with general composition, will potentially add more background figures (walking away).

Trajan Lettering

After this drawing I wanted to do a bit more lettering, just got the urge to. So decided to practice some classical Trajan from the Catich book ‘Origin of the serif’. Ended up designing something for the Craxford Snelling Workshop Ltd.
