Torso Modelling

Started again with some measurements around the neck and shoulders, working from the sternum notch to the termination of the neck. Need to think about how. Cutting at an angle, leaving rough modelling etc. think about why it doesn’t look right. How does it relate to the rest of the carving?

I took some quick profiles of the leg and buttocks, as I missed these lessons so had to rough them in.

Lots of back to back modelling, at a point where we can work quickly between measurements, as we’ve established a lot of these.

In the afternoon I modelled the transitions from front to back (so the sides).

Getting happier with my ability to model intuitively and finding areas to sculpt.
