Portrait Modelling

Very tried, picket line since 5.

Started work on the eyes themselves, after checking all the measurements. Rolled up a twenty six millimetre ball of clay, slightly smaller than the actual eyeball so it will fit in the cutout sockets. Then worked on positioning the eyes by cutting out and reintroducing clay until everything lined up.

After coming back from other pickets, I modelled the profile on other people’s portraits. Working in a circle we switched every one to two minutes. Helpful to see other people’s work and what they see.
