(Was first day back to school yesterday, not much happened, dropped tools and kept to myself. Was good to see some of them.)

Phil Portrait

Started this project by casting a block of plaster and carving it like stone. Was hard, portraits are. Gained some confidence by the end of the day but need to be confident in my wasting and remember what Nina tells me. One thing that I must do is over exaggerate the twist and tilt of the head as mine started very static. We will see how it goes.

Harry Pollitt Portrait

Mostly focused on the eyes and nose today. However did re-model the ears as they were crushed in the car yesterday. Fairly happy w progress, sad the teachers won’t help but hopefully Phil and Tom will.
