I added plaster to the back where I’d taken too much off. As it was wet I just strayed it down a lot then put new plaster straight on. If it was dryer I would leave in a bucket until fully saturated. Then go back in with new plaster, to stop lamination.

Kim talked about ‘tipping the light’, rather than modelling the clay. You’re changing how the light moves and that should be at the forefront of your mind rather than the material. How do you move the light?
