Phil’s Portrait

First full day on Phil, started by working in the eminences of the mouth, then worked up to the eminences of eyes. Having clear points to work to feels completely different to free carving, as I have been with the angel. From the eyes I moved onto obviously full areas which were distracting the eye. Working my way down to the jawline, trying to get a bit of shadow under the chin to help me see.
