Phil’s Studio Finished ‘Jack’ inscription, tired up and refined shapes. Used a pen to go over then rubbed back the pencil lines. After lunch I worked on some one hundred millimetre Trajan, was ok. SLLA Show Picked up ‘save time’ piece from school before visiting a studio space. No need for it until after third year. Wasn’t happy with the original Lombardic alphabet I drew so started again, got 2 drafts done.

Helped Alex build the foundations for a wall, hard but simple work, good to get out of London and see Alex and Caer. Helped Alex a bit with some brushed lettering, reminded me how bad mine is.

Portrait Modelling Last day today, so much needs doing, not enough time. I tried not to think about this when modelling so as not to rush and ruin previous work. We continued to work round the whole head, marking a strip from the bottom of the nose up this time. Again, not much to say…
