The Floating One Continued face. Moved onto hand tools fairly quickly. Not where I wanted it to be, still too flat. Lacked the confidence I guess to properly push it. Will leave for now and move onto drapery.

The Floating One Fairly good day carving, worked on shoulders up until just after lunch. Then moved onto the head at the recommendation of Ghislain. slow. Still too slow.

The Floating One Worked on the shoulders. Slow again. Started shaping the head too, got to a point where I needed to get behind where the hair will be so made sense to start carving this.

The Floating One Continued work on the top. Using a smaller air gun now, definitely preferring the Cuturi but was told to learn how to use the trigger hammers to save my hands in the long run. Will save the Cuturi’s for roughing out and tooling. Will continue figuring out what works best for me.…
